SERVICE FACILITIES AND CAPABILITIES:
Our strengths as a company are based around the following skill areas.
- We have a long and strong history of identifying, sourcing and importing equipment to meet our customer’s specification.
- Our project management and roll out skills have been developed over many years and we believe that the number of
large customers who are repeat purchasers of our equipment and services bears testament to our expertise in this area.
- We have spent considerable time developing our technical training and support facilities. We currently run 6 monthly
technical training programs for our Australian and New Zealand technical support staff. All equipment is fully documented
and we have recently enhanced this facility with on-line technical documentation and advice.
- Avem have always eagerly adopted technology in an effort to support our customer’s requirements and enhance our service
delivery. We currently run an integrated financial/service/rental system in house, which we are currently extending and developing
to offer our customers access to an exciting and beneficial business tool.
Our detailed after sales facilities include:
- Service: Avem offer a national 24 hour / 7 day service facility for our entire range of equipment. Our national service desk
is based in Melbourne and may be contacted by calling our 1800 number, or by email at sales@avem.com.au. For all service
calls we have an established placement and escalation procedure that ensures that our customers receive optimum service at all times.
We are able to accept and process service calls on all Avem provided equipment and to accept and monitor service call placements for
other equipment that our customers may have in the field (either company owned or rented).
Avem manage all aspects of our national service operation from our call centre in Moorabbin and utilize a combination of company employed
and dedicated sub-contractors to undertake our service work. We also utilize a range of sub-contractors in regional centres across Australia
to service our equipment. As we have an extensive installed base of equipment in remote locations we have developed a unique ability to
effectively service equipment almost anywhere. Our service work is all received, logged and monitored via our Customer Service database
All customer calls are logged on-line detailing time of call, date and issue raised. We are then able to prioritise and track all calls as they proceed
at any time. Our system allows us to register and manage all assets on the Avem database. Each of our service screens, and Avem registered
customers may access various other aspects of the systems over the Internet.
Avem offer guaranteed response times based on specific customer requirements. Our service charging is flexible and, again, based on your
preferred requirements.
- Equipment placement, movement and storage: Avem have storage facilities in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane
where we are able to store equipment. For deliveries and roll-outs of equipment we hold machines in these locations and dispatch for
installation according to an agreed schedule.
We are also able to hold a floating stock in each state of “replacement” machines which may be utilized should we have a situation arise where
a machine cannot be repaired on site. In this instance we will simply replace the faulty machine from this stock and return the faulty unit to Avem
for full repair.
All placements, re-locations and holding stock activities are managed through our Customer Service system and may be accessed on-line
by our customers.
- Service contracts: Avem offer our customers service contracts that may either be structured on an annual “fixed fee” basis, on
a monthly fee basis or on a “time and materials” basis which attracts a fee when service is required. We are also able to offer
guaranteed response times and extended hours service when required. Avem personnel will be pleased to discuss these options
with customers during our sales negotiations.
Refurbishment and preventative maintenance facilities: Avem offer both re-furbishment and preventative maintenance programs
either on-site or at our “base” locations in each capital city. Re-furbishment programs are generally best performed at Avem locations
and will involve returning your equipment to an “as new” state should this be a feasible option. Preventative maintenance can be performed
on-site and covers a range of pre-agreed activities aimed to prolong the working life of your machinery.
